After years hearing friends and family ask, “How’d you find that place?” I decided to write my own blog about my global adventures as well as my quest to explore the world mindfully and with purpose. I spent five of my most formidable years living abroad in Beijing, China, a good portion of the last decade in Los Angeles, and now reside in Singapore, where I write fiction and run my start-up (along with my brilliant co-founder, Anna Redmond), Hippo Reads.
